Join us the last  Friday of the month from 515-615 for Sangría Soiree-where we will meet and have topic-themed conversation and play games in Spanish. This will be an easy  place  to make connections with other students, and a light-hearted and fun way to end your week, while picking up a few Spanish words along the way….;).

Using AI to Learn Spanish

30 minute Vocab: Wake-up and Workout 

There’s more than one way to wake-up! ;)  If you’re keen to train your brain early in the morning, then just like a morning gym workout, think of this as 30 minutes of vocabulary intensive training. Each class will include a new category of words, with themes such as travel, adjectives, family, etc.   The 1^st and 3^rd weeks of this class, we will be introducing new vocabulary, and the 2^nd and 4^th weeks will be used to reinforce and practice with learned vocabulary. We will aim for real memorization and mastery the 2^nd and 4^th weeks of the month.

Grammar and Verb Tense Q&A, all levels

Come meet with native speaker Pedro, as we tackle any (and all!) of your grammar questions-from turns of phrase to idioms and colloquial expressions.

Show & Tell/Storytelling  

Come and have fun and conversationally interact with others about your own life, while also learning to tell stories in Spanish using the language you already know.

Come join us as use this hour to speak with and compare a number of different tenses, including the present tense, present progressive, future, and preterit.

Come practice Spanish with a guest speaker from a native Spanish speaking country! This will be a GREAT place to bring any questions you might have, and to gain more real-world experience conversationally.
