Spanish Club is designed for adult learners from beginner through advanced levels. Each event is clearly labeled by skill level so you can choose what fits you best. If you’re starting completely from zero, we recommend building a foundation first in our Spanish Lessons with Emily D. program (Lessons 1–16). But if you’ve had some exposure to Spanish, there are beginner-friendly events inside Spanish Club to help you grow confidently.

NO. Spanish Club is flexible. You choose which events to attend based on your level, schedule, and interests. You’re never locked into one group. We encourage you to attend events that match your level and curiosity.

YES!  We offer intermediate and advanced conversation sessions, specialty workshops with master teachers, native speakers and themed events designed to stretch your skills and keep you progressing.

That’s completely normal. Truly. But trust us that Spanish Club is a supportive, encouraging environment! This is our top priority. It is not a classroom where you’re put on the spot. You’re always welcome to observe first, keep your camera off, or simply listen until you feel ready. Growth happens at your pace and your schedule here.

YES. Spanish Club is intentionally designed. Each event has a clear focus and learning objective so you’re always building or working on something specific. Class descriptions will outline what to expect and how each individual event will be structured so that everyone is on the same page in advance. 

YES!  We want our members to come with questions, and you’re welcome to submit them in advance inside the community. Our teachers regularly engage, answer questions, and support members.

Spanish Club complements our structured Spanish Lessons with Emily D. curriculum. Every session is thoughtfully planned to strengthen real-world communication skills.

You’ll receive feedback and correction gently and helpfully. Our goal is to guide you forward without embarrassment and with encouragement. Supportive feedback is part of the growth process and it’s one of the things our fabulous teachers do best! 

With consistent participation, you’ll notice stronger speaking skills, better listening comprehension, and more confidence. Fluency grows through consistency and you’ll have a place to practice regularly with other adult learners who have the same shared goal.

YES! Most of the live events and classes will be recorded and uploaded to our content “Vault” located in your Spanish Club membership account. Between our MANY live class offerings and recordings, there will always be something to listen to or watch to immerse yourself in Spanish learning.

You can join in our community and live classes and events on your phone by downloading the Kajabi app. Log in using the email address that you signed up for Spanish Club. For easy login from a desktop or laptop, visit the website www.SpanishClubwithEmilyD.com 

There is a very easy feature to add any class you wish to attend to your Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook or Apple Calendar (iCal). The class description and Zoom link are all built into the calendar to make it accessible and convenient! One of the benefits of your Spanish Club membership is that you can attend as many classes as you wish!

YES. Spanish Club is a simple month-to-month membership. There’s no long-term commitment, and you’re free to cancel anytime right from your member dashboard or by emailing us at spanishlessonswithemilyd@gmail.com. We want you here because you want to be here.

YES! As long as your membership remains active, your founding member rate is yours for life. If you joined at our founding member lifetime rate and decide to cancel, you’re always welcome back at the current membership rate whenever the time feels right. 

Because Spanish Club is a month-to-month membership with immediate access to live events and replays, we’re not able to offer refunds. You can cancel anytime to prevent future charges.

You’ll continue to have access through the end of your current billing period. After that, your membership will simply expire.

At this time, we don’t offer a pause option but you’re always welcome to cancel and rejoin when you’re ready (at the current membership rate).

Sessions are led by our extraordinary Spanish Lessons with Emily D. master teachers, all trained in our immersion-based, adult-focused teaching approach with many years of experience. Bevin Beers is our Spanish Club community coordinator, your point person and biggest cheerleader! Emily D. will be teaching live classes and hosting monthly progress coaching and Q&A sessions.

You don’t have to feel perfectly ready. Spanish Club is a place to grow not to perform. We’re all learning here — step by step, imperfectly and with courage!

Spanish Club is made up of our Spanish Lessons with Emily D. students mostly ranging in age from 20-70’s. Sometimes we’ll have younger students and sometimes students in their 80’s. 

We totally understand that you have a full life with a lot going on! We offer so many class options in hopes that you can tune in and work Spanish into your life on the go. For example, listening to classes as you drive, clean, exercise, etc. (almost like listening to a live podcast). If there are times that you can join in and be an active participant, great! We want to provide as many opportunities as possible for live classes and recordings so you can “be immersed” in your Spanish learning.

No! You will be charged at time of purchase, but if you purchase a membership before March 1st, your next payment won't go out until April 1st!
